Why Greengolfcarts

What we stand for

A second-hand golf cart should never be a gamble. That is why we check every cart over, rebuild it around your work and stay reachable once it is yours.

Fast service

Direct contact: you always speak to the same person. That does not stop at the sale; questions about servicing, batteries or parts are just as welcome.

Environmentally friendly

We give existing carts a second life instead of having new ones built. Electric, quiet and no emissions on your site.

Made to measure

A cargo box for tools, an extra bench seat or a different colour: we convert the cart to suit your work.

Personal advice

Not finding what you need?

We often have carts in the workshop that are not online yet. Give us a call and together we will work out what suits your job.

About us

The company behind the carts

Greengolfcarts sells, hires out and maintains second-hand golf carts. What started as a student project in 2020 has grown into a standing fleet that we now deliver from right across Europe: to golf courses, campsites, farms and event sites.

Every cart passes through our own workshop in Tilburg first: checked over, overhauled where needed, and adapted to the work it is meant for.

The benefits

What an electric golf cart gives you

Four reasons why golf courses, campsites, farms and event grounds run on them.

Low running costs

An electric golf cart runs on a battery instead of fuel and needs little maintenance. Second-hand, that makes it an affordable way to move staff and equipment around your site.

Electric and emission-free

Electric golf carts produce no emissions in use. That makes them a clean choice for golf courses, campsites and holiday parks where exhaust fumes and smells are unwelcome.

Efficient transport

You can move tools, materials and loads in a single trip. That saves a lot of walking on large sites such as farms, nurseries and event grounds.

Quiet operation

An electric golf cart makes almost no noise. You can use it early in the morning, or close to guests and livestock, where a petrol engine would be far too loud.

Experiences

What customers say about our golf carts

Not a sales pitch from us: this was written by people who bought or hired a golf cart here.

With our carnival club we first hired a little golf cart here and in the end we went ahead and bought it.

We had a small problem with one of the batteries, but Joep sorted it out straight away! Top bloke, super friendly and TOP service!

Best wishes from carnival club De Rare Vogels Grote Heide!

Frequently asked questions about golf carts

Can’t find your question here? Just give us a call. You will get Joep himself and hear straight away what is possible.

Call us!
Are your golf buggies new or second-hand?

Our golf buggies are second-hand. Every cart is checked and made ready to drive in our own workshop in Tilburg before it joins the range.

Are the golf carts electric or petrol?

Both. We have electric golf carts as well as petrol ones; the power type is listed with every cart in the range.

Can I have a golf cart customised?

Yes. A cargo box, an extra bench seat or a different colour: in our workshop we adapt the cart to the job you need it for.

Can I hire or rent a golf cart?

Certainly: you can hire a golf cart from us by the day, weekend or week. See golf cart hire for the options.

Do you deliver outside the Netherlands?

Yes, we deliver across Europe, from France to Albania and Lithuania. Get in touch and we will discuss the options for your location.

Can I come and view a golf cart?

Please do. Our workshop is at Kapitein Hatterasstraat 30 in Tilburg. Do call ahead, so you can be sure someone is there for you.

Do you also sell batteries and parts?

Yes: besides complete golf carts we supply batteries, parts and accessories. You will find them under products, and we are happy to advise.

How much does a used golf cart cost?

That depends on the year, the battery and the specification. Every cart in our range has its price listed. If it says price on request, just call us: you will hear straight away what the cart costs and what can be added.

Are golf carts street legal? Can I drive one on public roads?

Only with European type approval (L6e or L7e). That approval is what makes a golf cart street legal anywhere in the EU; you then apply for registration in your own country, with your own authority. Every cart in our range states under Road use whether it has that approval. Without it the cart stays on private ground: a golf course, campsite, estate or business site.

How many people fit in a golf cart?

Most carts seat two. With a folding rear bench or an extended roof we turn one into a 4-seater golf cart; for larger groups we supply shuttles for six to eight people. The number of seats is listed with every cart.

How long does a golf cart battery last?

A lead-acid battery lasts four to six years in normal use, a lithium battery (LiFePO4) easily twice that. Is your cart not getting as far as it used to? Then the battery is usually due for replacement.

Can you replace my golf cart batteries?

Yes. We supply batteries from 6 to 72 volts for Club Car, E-Z-GO, Yamaha and most other makes, and fit them in our workshop in Tilburg if you wish. Call or email us which cart you have and we will find the right set. You will also find them under products.

A map from Google goes here. It only loads when you ask for it, because Google sees your IP address once it does.
